Do Now – Starter<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

  1. Begin a maths lesson by displaying 3-5 questions on the board that pupils have previously learned. (Start easy to ensure all pupils can access and make a positive start.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Establish a routine where pupils enter the classroom and respond to the questions on mini-whiteboards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Circulate and address any misconceptions. Aim to get to see all pupil’s whiteboards. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Plan your circulation so that you focus your time and energy on the pupils who need it most. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Narrate the positive. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Provide feedback and identify and concepts that you may need to re-teach. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
